Originally from New York, Maija RIVENBURG (@maijameehameow ) is an artist manager, booking agency director, and artivist who is passionate about connecting artists with audiences. Since 2015, she has lived in East Africa in Rwanda, Uganda, and Kenya working in theatre, festival administration, cultural event marketing, music management, and collaborative installation coordination. In 2020, Maija opened Kipepeo Agency (@kipepeoagency) an artist management and bookings agency which strives to journey together through metamorphosis, so that artist and team work together to transform and mold the artistic brand. Kipepeo Agency currently works with Akoth Jumadi (@akothjumadi ), Bakhita (@lunar_consciousness ), Nsimbi (@nsimbimusic )and Makossiri (@makossiri )
