Maria Kubysh (@maria.kubysh ) is a Canadian painter, designer and filmmaker currently based in Berlin, Germany. Her narrative short films screened internationally in several festivals, and her paintings were a subject of several international art residencies in 2020-2021. Maria is a recipient of the Canada Council for the Arts and Ontario Arts Council Grants. Most recently, Maria completed a residency at the DRAW International Artist Residency in Caylus, France.
